Believe it or not, you don’t need any experience to jump aboard Pettifox. Her simple gaff rig makes learning the ropes a dream and her skipper Johnny is always on hand for guidance. He welcomes as little or as much participation as you want – from hoisting the sails, taking the helm or simply sitting back and enjoying the views.
Below decks, a cosy saloon boasts a beautiful handmade oak dining table. There are two curtained bunks behind the saloon seats with a tiny wood burner for those colder evenings. In the fore, two more fixed single bunks provide a little more privacy with two smaller child bunks available for family charters.
Pettifox has spent the last few years undergoing a considered revamp with her owners expanding the galley to ensure tasty meals in abundance! She has also been re-fitted with a lovely bijou bathroom with a pull-out shower.
All food will be freshly-prepared on board with wholesome, home-cooked meals included in your ticket price. With Isles of Scilly voyages, guests will be expected to eat twice onshore at their own expense. This is to ensure that you truly make the most of island life.
