Your holiday on Blue Clipper will see you sail from Grenada to St Martin. There is no fixed itinerary for your sailing holiday as Blue Clipper will need to sail where the wind takes her but you below is an idea of what to expect and what islands you may discover.
St Vincent and the Grenadines – a southern Caribbean nation comprising the main island of St. Vincent and a chain of smaller idyllic islands. With azure blue harbours, chic private isles and volcanic landscapes, the Grenadines are made of a string of islands such as reef-lined Bequia Island, the celebrity island of Mustique and the snorkelling paradise in the colourful underwater world of Tobago Cays. Seemingly untouched by tourist exploitation, these islands offer white sandy beaches on deserted islands, crystal clear waters gently rolling the shores, refreshing waterfalls to explore and great walking trails throughout.
From here you will sail north and island-hop perhaps visiting islands such as Dominica and Guadeloupe. Guadeloupe is another French overseas region with its main island in the shape of a butterfly with the Salée River running in between. The mainland is hilly and home to long beaches and sugarcane fields. Parc National de la Guadeloupe encompasses the beautiful Carbet Falls and the volcano of La Grande Soufrière. Guadeloupe also has smaller islands that include Marie-Galante and La Désirade. The island of Dominica is mountainous and covered in rainforest reserves teeming with wildlife. The National Park is home to the volcanically heated, steam-covered Boiling Lake, hot springs and the 65m-tall Trafalgar Falls. The capital of Dominica, Roseau, is full of colourful timber houses and beautiful botanical gardens.
Your next stop could be Antigua, which is the mainland of the country of Antigua and Barbuda. Surrounded by turquoise waters, miles of coral reefs, stretches of sandy beaches and sheltered bays, this island is great for snorkelling, swimming and general relaxation. Quintessentially Caribbean in culture, you will find streets full of colourful timber houses, palms swaying in the trade wind breeze and friendly locals. Sailing from Antigua you will could visit islands such as Saint Kitts and Nevis or Anguilla.

Wildlife in the Caribbean is a real treat. Spot graceful Green and Loggerhead Sea Turtles gliding effortlessly through the water and Bottlenose Dolphins swimming with the wake of the bow. Whales also frequent the Caribbean sea, with the warm water providing the perfect breeding grounds at this time of year for the humpback whale. Birdlife in the Caribbean is an incredibly beautiful sight. Keep your binoculars at the ready to spot these colourful delights. With species only native to the Caribbean, these are once in a lifetime encounters! Pink Flamingoes are also a common bird across the Caribbean islands; these sociable creatures inhabit the blue lagoons, mudflats and lakes, living in colonies that can contain thousands of individuals.

Built in Sweden in 1991, tall ship Blue Clipper is a three-masted gaff rig schooner. With a clipper bow, original teak deck and elegant stern, she mixes a traditional tall ship feel with a modern build giving guests an authentic experience with all the mod cons.
Originally owned by the Brandy company Hennessy and named ‘Spirit of Hennessey, she appeared in many Tv programmes and commercials before being private bought in the late 90’s.
In 2016 she started her new life with her current owner and now spends her summers sailing Northern Europe and her winters chasing the Caribbean sunshine.More about Blue Clipper
