Join Kairos in Venice, Italy and spend a few days sailing and exploring this beautiful floating city and its neighbouring seaside town of Grando.
Starting in the city of Venice is a truly spectacular way to start a wonderful cruise onboard Kairos. This ancient city is built on 100’s of small islands connected by bridges, waterways and canals. with not a car in sight, take romantic trips on the famous Gondolas, visit streets packed with museums and galleries and dine at a plethora of bars and restaurants.
This weekend is also the annual Carnival of Venice where this floating comes to life in a sea of colour and celebration. Originally dating back to 1162, the Carnival marks the start of Lent, forty days before Easter and is famous for its beautifully elaborate festival masks.
Escape the tourist hustle and bustle with the tranquillity of your own boat to explore this fabulous part of the Mediterranean. Anchor away from the tourist’s eye in the Venetian Lagoon and sail to visit the lagoon island of Grado.
The vintage beach resort of Grado is home to beaches of grey sand – considered curative and is used in spa treatments. Here you’ll find beautiful medieval squares crisscrossed with narrow streets, grand mansions and a seafront lined with beach huts and thermal baths.
Soft drinks and alcoholic drinks, water sports (wakeboarding, water skiing, banana boat chargeable. However Stand Up Paddleboards and snorkelling (adult size only) are free of charge) with motor drive and trips organized by us are chargeable as an extra. However, we offer this at moderate prices and are well below the prices of other cruises. An average of 10% of the travel price as onboard consumption may serve as a guide. The onboard currency is the Euro. We will open an onboard account for you on the day of arrival, from which you can pay all personal expenses.
