Join classic boat Maybe in the Spanish port of La Coruña. La Coruña town’s history is closely connected with its historic fishing and trading port, and the peninsula on which the historic part of town is situated is home to an interesting Romanesque road network with squares and medieval churches as well as the Hercules Tower, the oldest lighthouse in the world.

From La Coruna, Maybe will sail the spectacular coastline towards the fishing port of Vigo.
There is no set itinerary for your sailing holiday as Maybe will need to sail where the wind and tides permit but you will anchor at traditional Spanish and Portuguese harbour towns as your work your way down the coast. Explore seafront towns lined with ancient granite-paved streets, traditional Spanish markets and bustling taverns. Wander streets within walls of old medieval cities, revelling in Spanish history with elaborately carved stone architecture opening onto grand plazas.

Explore the port of Vigo and sail to explore the beautiful Iles Cies. An archipelago situated in the mouth of the River Vigo and now a designated National Park teeming with birdlife. Anchor in its picturesque sheltered coves and swim in its glistening clear waters to the stretches of sandy white beaches. Follow the walking trails as they meander higher amongst the tree before reaching Mount Faro – a fabulous point offering spectacular panoramic views.

From Vigo, continue your journey down to past the Portuguese city of Porto and onto your final destination of Cascais. A traditional fishing village and port, known for its trio of sandy beaches, traditional old town, quaint gardens and sweet museums.

Your holiday on Maybe will be an active sailing holiday. You will sail with and become part of the crew, hoisting sails, taking the helm and really getting involved with sailing a classic boat whilst experiencing the magic and beauty of the Galician coastline.

As this is an active adventure holiday, we advise that everyone has the appropriate personal accident travel insurance whilst onboard in addition to standard travel insurance which would cover you in the time between making your booking and departing for your adventure.
