Improve your skills and build your confidence in an offshore adventure sailing holiday on tall ship Maybe with an ocean crossing of the Bay of Biscay.
Begin your voyage in the English port of Southampton before making your way through the Solent and past the Isle of Wight. Next is a crossing through the English Channel towards the French coast. Depending on the direction of the wind and weather systems, you may stop in the Channel Islands before continuing across the Bay of Biscay.
Your final destination will be the Spanish port of Camarinhas.
Life at Sea
Your voyage on Maybe will be an active expedition sailing holiday. Night sailing is a wondrous occasion and with no light pollution, you will see the night sky as you have never seen it before. Believe it or not, you do not need any sailing experience. The professional and experienced crew will teach you everything you need to know as you will sail with and become part of the crew, hoisting sails, taking the helm and really getting involved with sailing a tall ship.
Work as part of a watch system, help to navigate the ocean, climb the rigging, mend a sail and get into the rhythm of ocean sailing. Learn about Celestial navigation, gain skills in seamanship and learn to live on the ocean, at one with nature.
Your ticket price includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and soft drinks. Bedding is provided – you just need to bring your own towels.

As this is an active adventure holiday, we advise that everyone has the appropriate personal accident travel insurance whilst onboard in addition to standard travel insurance which would cover you in the time between making your booking and departing for your adventure. These policies can sometimes be combined so please check with your travel insurance provider.
