DÂ AÂ YÂ Â 1
Arrive into Maumere airport where your guides will meet you and take you to the boat. Once you’ve settled in, head ashore for a mesmerising cultural performance at Watublapi Village before heading back to the boat for lunch. In the afternoon, we will set sail for Kodia and arrive just before sunset.
D A YÂ 2
Spend the day exploring this small cluster of islands surrounded by white sand beaches and beautiful coral reefs. Spend the day snorkelling the reefs and exploring with a hike inland.
An overnight sail to Capo des Flores (the Cape of Flowers) will give guests a beautiful anchorage to wake up to.
D A YÂ 3
Move north along Capo des Flores as we anchor and a great spot for snorkelling, swimming and paddling. Continue to the mighty Lie Mandiri off the coast of Larantuka where we will be greeted by friendly locals with traditional song and dance performances.

Wake up on the island of Solor as we spend the morning exploring the island, local villages and a 16th century Portuguese fort. After we have finished exploring, head for the island of Lembata, stopping off along the way to explore ashore.

Wake up under the gaze of the giant active volcano of Ile Api – aptly named the Island of Fire  on the island of Lembata. Guests are welcomed ashore to the local village with traditional singing and dancing and the production of their famous local textiles.
After lunch, sail across the bay to snorkel in the vibrant coral reef and make use of the boats paddle boards and kayaks. The crew will be setting up nearby for a beach BBQ, bonfire and party under the stars!

After an overnight sail, wake up again off the coast of the Capo de Flores. Today is the day the for snorkelling, paddling and exploring this beautiful part of Indonesia, including a visit to a local village, before heading further west at sunset.

Paluweh island is an active volcano that rises some 3000m from the sea floor. Spend the day exploring this natural wonder surrounded with hiking trails, swimming, snorkelling and paddle-boarding opportunities.

Wake up in near the island of Riung where guests are free to spend the day as they wish. Explore ashore taking a hike into the forest, snorkel and swim and make use of the boats paddle boards and kayaks.
In the evening, the anchorage provides a great vantage point to watch thousands of fruit bats coming our of their roost to forage at dusk.
D A Y 9
Wake up early after an overnight sail as we head ashore to the island of Rinca where the ancient komodo dragons live. Under the guidance of experienced rangers, explore the fascinating creatures with a trek across the island. After lunch, we will snorkel at Siaba Reef , home to many sea turtles and beautiful coral

Spend a final morning exploring the Komodo National Park to the Makassar reefs to snorkel with manta rays before a visit to Pink Beach for some snorkelling. After lunch the crew will take guests to the airport or hotel for your onwards travel.

Life on-board Ombak Putih is one of traditional Indonesian culture, from the welcoming local crew to the fresh local delicacies, fascinating endemic species and breath-taking Indonesian landscapes. The local people are at the heart of everything that Ombak Putih does. From employing local people to sail her to the traditional craftsmen that built her, the networks and connections that have been nurtured by the crew are heart-warming. Visit remote villages where you’re greeted by running children, laughing and joking, sharing their local crafts. Dance around the fire, play music, exchange gifts and wonder their fascinating corner of paradise.
With six private, air-conditioned en-suite cabins full of traditional Indonesian charm, spacious communal area, alfresco dining areas and sun-lounge deck, Ombak Putih offers plenty of seclusion and relaxation. There are kayaks, snorkel gear and SUP’s for guests to use and the crew can arrange extra activities ashore from kite-surfing to cookery classes.
There are a total of 12 crew on Ombak Putih so you really won’t have to lift a finger. From home-made cocktails, freshly prepared Indonesian cuisine, there is even a host to take care of any extra excursion planning.

As this is an active adventure holiday, we advise that everyone has the appropriate personal accident travel insurance whilst onboard in addition to standard travel insurance which would cover you in the time between making your booking and departing for your adventure.
