Your Sailing Area
Nicknamed the Emerald Island, Corfu is the greenest of all the Ionian islands with mountains covered in trees, acres of vineyards and over 2 million olive trees. Beginning your sailing holiday in Corfu means after a quick flight from the UK, you’ll be relaxing in azure blue waters in no time. This luxury sailing adventure on our beautiful Rhea is perfect for sitting back, taking in the views and soaking up that Mediterranean sunshine while the professional crew sail you from Corfu to explore the island cluster of Paxi, just South of Corfu.
Explore the lesser trodden gems of the Corfu coastline before heading for the island cluster of Paxi. Paxi is made up of the largest island of Paxos and the smaller, Antipaxos famous for its wine and two of the finest sand beaches in the Ionian Sea. Perfect for an afternoon exploring ashore, enjoying local Greek cuisine in a waterside Tavernas before cooling off in crystal clear waters.
All the islands, along with Ithaca and Lefkada, still retain that true Grecian charm with travellers only accessing the island by water which has stopped the main harbour towns becoming overdeveloped by the tourist trade. Ithaca is home to the myth and legend of Odysseus with ancient ruins nestled in hilly mountains lined with olive groves. The island is not so much a beach going destination as the others, but it has an abundance of beautiful small coves, perfect if you’re arriving by boat and fancy some snorkelling! With delightful harbour villages filled with traditional tavernas on the East sides of the islands, the West coasts have been left untouched. Lefkada offers stunning turquoise blue waters framed by sheer limestone white cliffs with centuries-old olive groves among rolling hills and unspoilt coves. Perhaps even anchor at the deserted island of Arkoudi, with only goats as residents!

Guest berths: 26 Rig: Bermudan Ketch
Like her sister Chronos, Rhea was built and designed in Bodrum, Turkey but is registered in Holland and spends her days sailing the Mediterranean and Caribbean. The youngest in our fleet, Rhea was purpose built as a charter vessel in 2016 and finished in 2017 as a two-masted, 54m staysail ketch.
This beautiful Ketch was designed by Klaus Röder who based his design on a classic yacht whilst keeping up with the modern day ketch; built for performance sailing and guest comfort. The classic rig of a Bermuda Ketch with a large boom was conceptualised and designed by Klaas Huizinga.
Built with luxury in mind, the outline on deck is of teak and mahogany with plenty of space to sun-bath, read a book and enjoy the views. All the sails are electronically retractable, so no need to learn the ropes here. (The crew are, however, more than happy for guests to get involved with the operating and sailing of Rhea as much as they would like!)
An admiralty ladder provides the perfect place to jump off into the warm Caribbean waters, have a swim and climb back aboard with ease. Rhea also offers her guests the options of using her water skiing, wake-board, tube riding, banana boat, 2 kayaks, 2 stand up Paddleboards, snorkelling equipment and even a sail dinghy (QubaRS)
The deckhouse offers its very own small bar whilst below decks offers still more space to relax with another dining area, as well as her on-deck dining area. Her private cabins, offering both double and single beds, all have air-conditioning and en-suite bathrooms.
The professional crew consists of the Skipper, first mate, mechanic, bosun, cook and 4 stewards, so you will most certainly be looked after during your time aboard Rhea.
