Join Kairos in the floating city of Venice. A truly spectacular way to begin a wonderful cruise on Kairos. This ancient city built on 100’s of small islands is connected by bridges, waterways and canals. Take romantic trips on the famous Gondolas, visit streets packed with museums and galleries and dine at a plethora of bars and restaurants. Voted one of the must-visit cities on the planet, what better way to start your Mediterranean sailing holiday.
Sailing from Venice, you will aim for the harbour cities of Pula and Trieste. Pula is home to the best-preserved Roman ruins outside of Italy and its impressive Venetian architecture is a sight not to be missed. Home to the last Roman amphitheatre with a complete circle wall (27 BC-68 AD), it’s one of the last of its type in the world and is one of Croatia’s best kept architectural secrets. Pula was part of Italy until 1947 so the culture and cuisine here have a distinctly Italian influence.
Finishing in the historic city of Trogir is a magical way to end your holiday. Walk from the harbour through its streets lined with beautifully maintained Romanesque and Renaissance buildings and Venetian architecture, basking in sunshine and history. Trogir itself is a tiny island surrounded by original medieval walls and linked to the mainland by bridges; it was awarded World Heritage status in 1997.
As with all sailing holidays, the itinerary is not set until closer to the time but be assured that this cruise will see you exploring the magnificent Kornati (also known as the Stomorski islands), an archipelago in Croatia with a total of 140 islands. The Kornati is a registered National Park and is home to crystal clear waters, beautiful reefs and a terrain of predominantly limestone and dolomite, covering the islands in caves, grottoes and rugged cliffs. Anchoring amongst these islands gives you the perfect backdrop for Mediterranean sunbathing, taking a swim from the boat, snorkelling the reefs and enjoying Kairos’ watersports equipment!
Wildlife in these waters is rife; expect to see common dolphins swimming in the bows, whales gliding on the horizon and turtles bobbing in the surf. Snorkelling is rich with marine life and with crystal clear waters, take a waterproof camera for great shots and forever memories.
Soft drinks and alcoholic drinks, water sports (wakeboarding, water skiing, banana boat chargeable. However Stand Up Paddleboards and snorkelling (adult size only) are free of charge) with motor drive and trips organized by us are chargeable as an extra. However, we offer this at moderate prices and are well below the prices of other cruises. An average of 10% of the travel price as onboard consumption may serve as a guide. The onboard currency is the Euro. We will open an onboard account for you on the day of arrival, from which you can pay all personal expenses.Â

KairĂ³s
Guest berths: 14 Rig: Bermuda Schooner
Luxury yacht KairĂ³s offers an unforgettable sailing holiday experience in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea. A purpose-built charter vessel designed with the beautifully elegant lines of a classic boat, KairĂ³s gives guests the ultimate luxury sailing experience with 5* service and private ensuite cabins. She spends her winters in Greece before sailing in Croatia, Corfu and Italy during the summer months.
This beautiful schooner is the creation of Andreas Steidle-Sailer a passionate sailor and visionary with a love of classic yachts. He realised that sailing on board beautiful classic yachts was often only accessible to the super-rich and wanted to create an opportunity for anybody to be able to sail in luxury on a modern yacht with classic lines. He teamed up with Klaus Röder in 2007, who based his design on a classic yacht whilst keeping up with the modern-day schooners, built for performance sailing and guest comfort.
KairĂ³s offers cabin charter berths for up to 14 guests. She has six private en-suite double cabins (all named after iconic classic yachts) with full walk-in shower cubicles and one small double cabin with a wet room ensuite. All her cabins have full air conditioning, teak interior finishes, and full-size double beds. There’s a bar and navigation station in the midships, and below decks, she has a large saloon area with comfortable leather seating and dining.
Built with luxury in mind, the deck’s outline is teak and mahogany, with plenty of space to sunbathe, read a book and enjoy the views. All the sails are electronically retractable, so there is no need to “learn the ropes” here! An admiralty ladder provides the perfect place to jump off into the warm Mediterranean waters, swim, and climb back aboard easily. KairĂ³s also offers her guests the option of using her paddle-boards, snorkelling and water sports equipment too!
