A week-long voyage that hugs the west coastline of the Scottish mainland. A great voyage for those still finding their sea-legs, or seasoned sailors wanting something calmer.

This Cherokee voyage is ideal for an introduction to the beautiful Scottish west coast. From Oban, the ship will set sail south over the Corryvreckan, famous for its strong currents and eddies. This area also boasts beautiful flora and diverse fauna on its many islands, so keep binoculars to hand and eyes peeled!
Cherokee will then go through the sea lock of Crinan, where guests can go ashore to walk through the stunning Scottish landscape. Heading inland, the ship will sail through the Crinan Canal, a breathtaking shortcut through the Highlands – a real experience. The channel has 15 locks, so narrow that Cherokee can only just fit in them, and that crew and guests will have to open manually.
After the canal, Cherokee will sail to open water, to find the beautiful harbour of Tarbert, before heading off around Bute. The narrow channels make for brilliant sailing, and the scenery, as always, is stunning. Once around Bute, Cherokee sails via the Firth of Clyde and onward to Greenock, in Glasgow, where guests will say disembark.
