YOUR SAILING AREA
Majorca, Spain
Sitting East from mainland Spain, Majorca is the largest of the Balearic islands known for its sheltered coves, limestone mountains and 13th century architecture. Sandy shores and crystal clear waters are perfect for swimming and snorkelling after a day of coastal sailing. Wander ashore through sleepy stone built villages, citrus plantations and enjoy star lit evenings tasting the local tapas cuisine.
Set the sails from the historic harbour city of Palma after a short flight from the UK. From here, Skyelark will look to explore the north west coast with its dramatic cliff line and miles of sandy beaches and secluded coves. With plenty of anchorages in picturesque bays, enjoy a freshly cooked lunch on deck before diving into crystal clear water and relaxing ashore.
Perhaps anchor and take the tram to the old town of Sóller perched high in the mountains overlooking a beautiful green valley. If the weather allows, Skyelark will sail to a small group of islands called La Cabrera National Park, a remote archipelago sitting South of the Majorca. With the chance to explore ancient ruins ashore the marine life here is in abundance, and the remote feeling really brings you close to nature.
There are currently no voyages scheduled. Please get in touch with the VentureSail team to find out what’s available, or if other upcoming voyages might be suitable.
