Sail with Our Daddy from her current home town of Dartmouth on the South Devon coast for a day of sailing. Set on the banks of the picturesque River Dart, Dartmouth is a sweet harbour town, bustling with friendly locals, fresh produce markets and oozing in history and eclectic architecture.

Meet Our Daddy on the Ferry Pontoon where you will be greeted by Skippers Steve and Tim. You will be shown around the boat before she takes you out of the river Dart and to open water, letting the wind dictate which way you’ll head along the beautiful Devon coast. Whichever way you go, it’s an amazing way of exploring Devon’s coastline, offering a unique perspective of the county. As you sail, either sit back and relax or get involved hoisting the sails or even taking the helm – the choice is yours!

Sail around the magnificent Berry Head, the highest point on the South Coast, before coming into the traditional fishing port of Brixham where the local pirates will be getting ready for Brixham’s annual Pirate Regatta running over the weekend!

Whether you’re a seasoned solo sailor or a family looking to do something a bit different with your weekend, Our Daddy can cater for all ages and abilities.

Tim and Steve have been sailing this coast for years and used to run their own sailing school so you couldn’t be in safer hands! They also pride themselves on the food served aboard, with a delicious Tapas style lunch, endless Tea or Coffee, cake and biscuits included in the price. They certainly won’t leave you going hungry!

Whichever way the wind takes you, your day sailing on this historic lugger won’t disappoint. Heading either East or West will see you sail past a coastline designated for its Outstanding Natural Beauty with plenty of places to anchor for lunch. There are often dolphins swimming across Dart Bay in the wake of the bows and on the rare occasion, pilot whales have also been spotted so don’t forget your binoculars.

With beautiful anchorages, amazing food and wonderful sailing, this is a delightfully different way to spend your day.
