Join Polly Agatha in the maritime harbour of Falmouth before setting sail for a mile building cruise to the Solent.
Departing from the picturesque Cornish harbour of Falmouth is a great way to begin your sailing holiday. A town teeming with maritime history, home to the National Maritime Museum and cobbled streets lined with boutique shops. Sail out of Carrick waters between two Tudor castles, past hidden coves and sheltered beaches.
Over the next few days, Polly will sail up the coast and you may stop at the harbour towns of Plymouth, Salcombe or Dartmouth, across the bay past Exmouth and onto the Isle of Portland, home to the iconic red-striped Lighthouse of Portland Bill. Your final destination will be at Cowes on the Isle of Wight on The Solent.
The majority of the Devon Coastline is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the change in geology as you sail up towards Dorset and pass alongside the Jurassic Coast is both magnificent and impressive.
This will be a cruise of majority sailing with a few harbour stops and anchorages along the way. Whether you’re a seasoned solo sailor or a group looking to do something a bit different, Polly Agatha can cater for all ages and abilities.
