Our Booking Process

All great adventures start with a single step.
  • Your first step begins on our website, where you can search for your next adventure by date, destination, duration, and experience using our Voyage Finder tool. Call us if you need help pinning down precisely what you’re looking for. We know there is a lot to choose from, and our team has firsthand experience sailing with our fleet.
You’ve found the right voyage; now, is there availability?

  • We will check and confirm that your cabin and berth choices are available and reserve those berths in your name for 48 hours or 5 days, depending on the departure date and boat. From here, you will receive a booking offer email with important information, including the total cost, deposit amount, voyage ports, dates and duration.

Ready to make a booking?

  • Congratulations! Let’s get you ready to set sail.
The BOOK NOW button in your booking offer email links to our booking form. This asks for your contact information as the lead passenger and for additional guests’ contact information as applicable. Once this is completed, you will be directed to the payment page, where you can pay the deposit or balance securely online. We accept Mastercard and Visa in sterling and euros. Sorry, no Amex.

Monies paid and berths confirmed; what’s next?

You will receive three emails from us once we receive your payment.

  1. A Booking Confirmation email with your booking reference (it’ll look similar to this: VS2*-***). This details the amount paid, dates, embarkation and disembarkation locations.
  2. You will receive a mandatory Medical Form link to complete, including your passport or ID details, emergency contact information, dietary requirements, and some short but essential facts about your mobility and health. It only takes a few minutes online. Completion is required within a week of receipt, as any potential queries must be raised as soon as possible to avoid affecting your booking. Please call us if you have any concerns about medical information. For bookings with more than one passenger, only the lead passenger receives the booking emails and should pass them to other guests as required. Guests will receive an email from us once their medical form has been approved.
  3. Joining Pack – helps you with your travel planning, includes a ‘Kit List’ for packing, and contains essential information, including your boat’s contact phone numbers for your embarkation day. We will send this again a couple of weeks before your adventure.

Paid only a deposit? Final balances – let’s get them paid.

  • Email reminders will prompt you when this payment is due, and a link will be sent to pay by card online. Or, as always, call us during office hours (Mon – Fri 9:30-4:30, Sat 9:30-12:30), and we will be more than happy to help.

Balance paid. Medical approved. Travel arranged – get ready to step aboard.

  • Whether you’re hitting the high seas or embarking on a coastline jaunt from Dartmouth, we know you’ll have a holiday to talk about for years to come. Your Joining Pack includes everything you need. We send it when you book and again two weeks before your embarkation. We will be in touch if any final details are required from the boat for embarkation.

You’ve disembarked, and the holiday withdrawal is serious!

  • You will receive an email asking for feedback on your experience. Please email us with your honest feedback, or call us. We really want to hear it all—good or bad. We love seeing your pictures, so please share your memories with us, too. Reviews can be left on social media, Google, and Feefo (you will receive an email from us for a Feefo link), or just a good old-fashioned email to us is just as good. Thank you!
