Catamaran Charter Sailing in Croatia

You’ll join Acacia in the port town of Split as you begin your tailored wellness sailing holiday in Croatia.

Explore the secluded Croatian islands of Hvar, Vis, Korcula, Rogac, and Skrivena Luka as you sail through crystal-clear waters, discover charming towns, and enjoy traditional local cuisine. Anchor in hidden coves and relax on pristine beaches as you soak up the Mediterranean sun – using Acacia’s onboard water toys.

The exact course will, of course, be dictated by the wind, but the map below provides a good idea of where you will be sailing. Each day will be a nice balance of smooth catamaran sailing to reach the next destination, breathwork, beach yoga and beautiful food cooked on the boat and eaten ashore. Excursions ashore can also be organised with the skipper for guests who wish, and there will be plenty of time to explore ancient towns at your own leisure.

The Croatian Islands

Solta

A small coastal village located on the northern coast of the Croatian island of Solta is known for its picturesque beauty. Famous for its clear blue waters, secluded beaches, and lush green forests, the small town of Rogac is popular for those seeking a peaceful holiday.

One of the larger islands along the coast, Brac offers stunning views of the Adriatic Sea. The charming coastal town of Bol is a likely stop for Acacia. Bol is home to the famous Zlatni Rat beach, the Golden Horn. This unique beach is shaped like a horn and changes its shape according to the direction of the wind. Besides the beach, Bol also offers several other attractions, such as historic sites, museums, and local restaurants where you can enjoy traditional Croatian cuisine.

Hvar

A slightly livelier island, Hvar is known for its natural beauty, rich history, and vibrant nightlife. One of the lesser-known but equally charming destinations on the island is Palmizana, a small island located just off the coast of Hvar. Palmizana is a hidden gem that boasts turquoise waters, lush greenery, and several secluded beaches. Palmizana is also home to a botanical garden that features exotic plants from all over the world – it’s well worth a visit!

Vis

The “old town” of the island of Vis is a charming and picturesque spot in the heart of the city. Think of narrow and winding streets, stunning medieval architecture, historical landmarks, cobblestoned streets, and impressive Romanesque and Gothic architecture. The old town is also home to many shops, cafes, and restaurants, where guests can enjoy delicious local food and drinks.

Korcula

Known for its rich history, stunning beaches, and crystal-clear waters, Korcula is a popular destination for tourists from all over the world. The island is home to charming medieval towns, such as Korcula Town, where visitors can explore narrow streets, historic buildings, and picturesque squares. The island is also known for its delicious local cuisine, which features delicious fresh seafood.

Skrivena Luka

Last but by no means least is the hidden gem of Skrivena Luka on the island of Lastovo. A picturesque bay surrounded by lush greenery and crystal-clear waters, the perfect spot for pure relaxation. The name Skrivena Luka translates to “hidden harbour,” and it’s easy to see why. The bay is tucked away from the main tourist areas, and its unspoiled beauty makes it a favourite among nature lovers and sailors. The village itself is small but charming, with a few restaurants and cafes serving local cuisine.

Things to note
Sailing vs Shoretime
There is usually the chance to swim before/after breakfast and explore ashore before sailing for a new destination. Depending on the wishes of the group, Acacia normally anchors for lunch with opportunities to swim before making way to port to in the afternoon to explore a town and enjoy dinner in a restaurant.
Do I need to take part in night watches?
No, Acacia does not sail at night.
Do I need insect repellent?
Mosquitos can be active on land in the evenings so take a good DEET spray if you're prone to getting bitten!

Travel insurance notes

As this is an active adventure holiday, we advise that everyone has the appropriate personal accident travel insurance whilst onboard in addition to standard travel insurance which would cover you in the time between making your booking and departing for your adventure. These policies can sometimes be combined so please check with your travel insurance provider.

Please read more information on our Insurance guidelines page.

This voyage will not be more than 12 miles offshore.
