Chronos is the second of three sister ships and the creation of Andreas Steidle-Sailer, a passionate sailor and visionary with a love of classic yachts. He first built KairĂ³s when he realised that sailing on board beautiful classic yachts was often only accessible to the super-rich and wanted to create an opportunity for anybody to be able to sail in luxury on a modern yacht with classic lines. He teamed up with Klaus Röder in 2007, who based KairĂ³s on a classic yacht whilst keeping up with the modern-day schooners, built for performance sailing and guest comfort.

Built-in 2013, Chronos was the second of her three sisters to be commissioned and built (Rhea is the youngest, built in 2016). Designed on a classic ketch rig, she holds her sailing lines beautifully, gliding through the water. Built and registered in Turkey, she sailed down to the Caribbean, and there she has remained, showing her guests the favourable climate and good sailing grounds.

With a 1000 m² sail area, Chronos is undoubtedly one of the world’s most beautiful and fastest sailing yachts despite the high safety requirements of a passenger ship according to today’s rules. She is extremely seaworthy and quiet and offers its sailors a generous comfort in the classical ambience of a yacht.
