Built-in 2007, Kairós was the first boat to be commissioned by Andreas Steidle-Sailer, a passionate sailor and visionary with a love of classic yachts, created Kairós. He noticed that sailing on beautiful classic yachts was often only accessible to the super-rich. He aimed to provide an opportunity for anyone to sail in luxury on a modern yacht with classic lines. In 2007, he joined forces with Klaus Röder, who designed the modern-day schooners to be both performance sailing and guest comfort while being based on classic yacht designs.

Designed on a classic schooner rig, she holds her sailing lines beautifully, gliding through the water. Built and registered in Rotterdam, she quickly sailed down to the Mediterranean, and there she has remained, showing her guests the favourable climate and good sailing grounds.
