Explore the beautiful Croatian coast and the islands of Mljet, Lastovo and Korcula on luxury yacht Kairos.
Join Kairos in the sweet peninsula of Cavtat. An ancient town sat within two harbours lined with trees and a pretty waterfront promenade. Dotted with traditional restaurants, pebbly beaches and an interesting array of ancient architecture and artsy attractions.
As with all sailing holidays, the itinerary is not set until closer to the time but be assured that this cruise will see you exploring the magnificent coastline of the Adriatic Sea, the islands of Mljet, Lastovo and Korcula and you may even visit the Bay of Kotor. Stop at the must-see city of Dubrovnik before sailing back to the coastal town of Cavtat.
The Croatian Islands
Mljet is a National Park and is one of Croatia’s greenest islands and home to crystal clear waters, beautiful shorelines and sandy beaches. The waters around Mjlet are at a higher temperature than the sea and are full of marine life so plenty of exploring, swimming and snorkelling opportunities. Stroll around the two famous saltwater lakes or even visit the legendary Odysseus Cave.
Lastovo is part of an archipelago of 46 islands that is one of Croatia’s beautiful nature parks. Formerly a military base, the island of Lastovo was only recently opened to the public so is full of unspoiled charm. There is an abundance of marine life, ancient wrecks and natural wonders – perfect for a swim, snorkel or even a Scuba dive. As a result of strict controls within the park, you must be accompanied by registered guides when diving.

Guest berths: 16 Rig: Bermuda Schooner
Registered in Rotterdam but spending her days sailing the Med, Kairós was purpose built as a charter vessel in 2007, as a two-masted, 38m staysail schooner.
This beautiful luxurious schooner was designed by Klaus Röder who based his design on a classic yacht whilst keeping up with the modern day schooners; built for performance sailing and guest comfort. Kairós offers a total of 8 comfortable en-suite double cabins for up to 16 guests, these private cabins have either a queen size bed or single bunks and all have air-conditioning. The deckhouse has its very own small bar whilst below decks offers still more space to relax, from the saloon with its plasma TV to its very own library.
Built with luxury in mind, the outline on deck is of teak and mahogany with plenty of space to sun-bath, read a book and enjoy the views. All the sails are electronically retractable, so no need to learn the ropes here. (The crew are, however, more than happy for guests to get involved with the operating and sailing of Kairós as much as they would like!)
An admiralty ladder provides the perfect place to jump off into the warm Mediterranean waters, have a swim and climb back aboard with ease. Kairós also offers her guests the options of using her water skiing, wake-board, tube riding and snorkelling equipment!
The professional crew consists of the Skipper, first mate, mechanic, bosun, cook and 2 stewards, so you will most certainly be looked after during your time aboard Kairos.
