Watch on in comfort as the crew set the sails to the island of Carriacou belonging to Grenada. It’s known for its coral reefs and clear shallow waters – another perfect swimming and snorkelling spot! Sandy beaches include horseshoe-shaped Tyrell Bay Beach, where traditional colourful Caribbean boats built in the 1800s dot the shoreline. Carriacou Museum located in an old cotton mill features exhibitions on the island’s interesting African, French and British history.
Onto St Vincent and the Grenadines, a southern Caribbean nation comprising the main island, St. Vincent and a chain of smaller idyllic islands. With azure blue harbours, chic private isles and volcanic landscapes, the Grenadines are made of islands such as reef-lined Bequia Island, the celebrity island of Mustique and the snorkelling paradise in the colourful underwater world of Tobago Cays. Seemingly untouched by tourist exploitation, these islands offer white sandy beaches on deserted islands, crystal clear waters gently rolling the shores, refreshing waterfalls to explore and great walking trails throughout. Sail onto the island of St Lucia, a true Caribbean paradise. If the weather is fair, Chronos will anchor in the beautiful Piton Bay with views of the Piton themselves. Volcanic spires that rise out of the water almost vertically, they are one of the most spectacular landmarks of St Lucia.
Colourful Caribbean Wildlife
Wildlife in the Caribbean is a real treat. Spot graceful Green and Loggerhead Sea Turtles gliding effortlessly through the water and Bottlenose Dolphins swimming with the wake of the bow. Whales also frequent the Caribbean sea, with the warm water providing the perfect breeding grounds at this time of year for the humpback whale. Birdlife in the Caribbean is an incredibly beautiful sight. Keep your binoculars at the ready to spot these colourful delights. With species only native to the Caribbean, these are once in a lifetime encounters! Pink Flamingoes are also a common bird across the Caribbean islands; these sociable creatures inhabit the blue lagoons, mudflats and lakes, living in colonies that can contain thousands of individuals.

Guest berths: 26 Rig: Bermudan Ketch
Built and registered in Bodrum, Turkey but spending her days sailing the Mediterranean and Caribbean, Chronos was purpose built as a charter vessel in 2013, as a two-masted, 54m staysail ketch.
This beautiful Ketch was designed by Klaus Röder who based his design on a classic yacht whilst keeping up with the modern day ketch; built for performance sailing and guest comfort.
Built with luxury in mind, the outline on deck is of teak and mahogany with plenty of space to sun-bath, read a book and enjoy the views. All the sails are electronically retractable, so no need to learn the ropes here. (The crew are, however, more than happy for guests to get involved with the operating and sailing of Chronos as much as they would like!)
An admiralty ladder provides the perfect place to jump off into the warm Caribbean waters, have a swim and climb back aboard with ease. Chronos also offers her guests the options of using her water skiing, wake-board, tube riding, kneeboard, banana boat, kayak and snorkelling & dive equipment and even a sail dinghy (QubaRS)
The deckhouse offers its very own small bar whilst below decks offers still more space to relax with a saloon with a plasma TV! Her private cabins, offering both double and single beds, all have air-conditioning and en-suite bathrooms.
The professional crew consists of the Skipper, first mate, mechanic, bosun, cook and 4 stewards, so you will most certainly be looked after during your time aboard Chronos.
