The previous owner of Noorderlicht, Floris has a great love for the ocean and has grown up from childhood with sailing and life at sea. For many years he has sailed professionally with lots of passion for the sea, nature and the cooperation with people from various cultures.
Floris’ new venture is aboard historic herring lugger Iris and he can’t wait to sail with guests again and show them the beauty and wilderness of the Baltic Sea.
Floris will run Iris with a professional, qualified and enthusiastic crew; a Captain, designated chef and a deckhand. All of the crew have a broad experience at sea and are in possession of all the required diplomas and competences.
