Life onboard Stravaigin…

Meeting as strangers and departing as friends. Taking away memories to last forever and experiences that inspire and leave you wanting more.

Your arrival

Jump aboard Stravaigin to receive a truly warm Scottish welcome. Settle into your cabin, gather for a safety brief and explore your floating home for the week before enjoying some coffee and homemade cake.

Casting off from our home port of Oban, we will sail over clear waters and admire the views as we pass by with regular sightings of marine wildlife. Eat lunch either onboard or ashore exploring an island or picturesque bay before sailing to our anchorage for the night where you can enjoy a home-cooked meal of locally sourced and home-produced food that is one of the highlights of our trips. A dram and good craic in the evening enjoying one of many glorious Hebridean sunsets ends a typical day of sailing and adventure aboard Stravaigin.

Taking pride

Stravaigins owners pride themselves on quality in all aspects of what they do, taking the pressure off guests so they can relax and enjoy the journey and learn more about the landscapes, the people and wildlife that make these special places their home.

Stravaigin strives to minimise her impact on the environment too so she is fitted with solar panels and a wind generator.
